Rustic Country Wedding Anniversary Photography

Chantelle and Matt were SO much fun to work with. They are both transplants as well! (WHEE SAN DIEGO, CA!!!). The two have only lived here a few months and wanted to commemorate their one year wedding anniversary with a photo shoot! When Chantelle first contacted me, she really wanted a country, Texas feel to her photos. Of course, my mind went blank.

And then I remembered this gem of a place near where I live. It was perfect! I think we achieved the rustic, country feel pretty well. Denim shirt? Boots? Picnic in the grass?

They had a time capsule made the day of their wedding for their one year. They nailed shut a wooden box containing a bottle of wine and their vows. I absolutely LOVE her dress. And the denim coverup??
